Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office by providing excellent customer service, managing patient records, and facilitating communication between patients and dental staff. This position requires a friendly demeanor, expert attention to detail, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks efficiently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

Greet patients as they arrive and assist them with check-in procedures.
Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar using Dentrix software.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure electronic medical records are up to date.
Answer incoming calls on a multi-line phone system, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
Communicate effectively with dental staff to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, printing, auditing schedules, and maintaining office supplies.
Utilize dental terminology to assist in patient communication and documentation.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a dental or medical office is preferred and a great asset.
Familiarity with Dentrix software is highly desirable.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Proficiency in managing electronic medical records and other office technologies.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
