Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality oral care under the supervision of a licensed dentist, promoting good dental hygiene and preventing oral diseases.

Duties:

- Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists during examinations and procedures

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants

- Maintain patient records accurately

- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment

- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing patient flow

Qualifications:

- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

- State licensure as a Dental Hygienist

- Proficiency in Dentrix software preferred

- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures

- Experience in pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, or bilingual skills are advantageous

- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient care

- Previous experience in a dental office setting is beneficial
