Associate Dentist - Mississauga - Part Time

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our new and growing dental practice in Mississauga.

Duties

• Perform general dentistry procedures including exams, fillings, crowns, extractions, and root canals
• Diagnose dental conditions using clinical evaluation and diagnostic tools
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
• Utilize dental software such as Open Dental for record keeping, scheduling, and billing
• Provide pediatric dental care when necessary, ensuring a gentle and comforting approach for young patients
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
• Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to deliver efficient and effective treatments
• Maintain compliance with all safety protocols, including infection control standards

Skills

• Proficiency in dental software systems including open dental software
• Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental practice
• Prior experience working in a dental office environment is preferred
• Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
• Ability to handle multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $79,804.83-$363,995.99 per year
