What You’ll Do:

  • Monitor Vital Signs: Keep a close watch on patients’ vital signs throughout their journey, ensuring optimal care and patient safety.
  • Administer Medications: Deliver pain management and sedation medications as prescribed, providing comfort and relief to patients.
  • Pre-Surgery Prep: Prepare patients for surgery with IV placement, medication administration, and clear instructions for the procedure.
  • Assist in Surgeries: Work alongside skilled oral surgeons to ensure procedures run smoothly while maintaining sterile techniques and strict safety protocols.
  • Post-Op Care: Help monitor recovery, guide patients through their healing process, and offer helpful post-operative instructions.
  • Maintain Medical Equipment: Ensure all equipment is properly sterilized, set up, and ready for procedures, keeping everything in perfect working order.
  • Accurate Documentation: Keep patient records up-to-date, ensuring all information is detailed and accurate.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and families on recovery, oral hygiene, and general health maintenance to ensure better long-term outcomes.
  • Collaborative Care: Work hand-in-hand with the team to ensure a smooth, efficient workflow and high standards of patient care.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Current RN License: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ontario.
  • Experience: Experience in ED, ICU, OR, PACU, outpatient surgery, or oral surgery settings is highly preferred.
  • Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification are required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in IV placement, anesthesia monitoring, and patient assessments is a plus.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Composure Under Pressure: Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
