Certified Dental Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Level II Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist with various clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in daily morning huddles and audits.
• Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist the dentist during treatment.
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Take dental x-rays using digital sensors.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
• Manage patient records.
• Perform various lab tasks.

Experience & Qualifications

• Required: Certification in Dental Assisting (Level 2) and a valid Harp Certificate.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of basic and surgical dental procedures, the dental fee guide, and proficiency with dental software (e.g., AbelDent) is an asset.
• Familiarity with Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Digital Workflow CAD/CAM, and 3D printing is a plus.
