We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Office Manager ( Operational Manager ) to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of dental office management, and proficiency in relevant software systems such as Abeldent. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth functioning of the office, enhancing patient satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the dental office, ensuring efficient workflow and patient care.
  • Supervise and train staff, including dental assistants and administrative personnel.
  • Oversee scheduling of appointments and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
  • Implement and manage office policies and procedures to enhance productivity.
  • Handle human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment; coordinate with vendors as needed.
  • Prepare financial reports; monitor office expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all health regulations and standards in a dental setting.
  • Address patient inquiries and resolve any issues related to patient care or billing.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a dental office management role or similar position within healthcare.
  • Proficiency in a or similar dental practice management software.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and acute care practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in budgeting and financial management within a healthcare environment.
  • Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • A background in nursing or other healthcare roles is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour
