Prep Doctors is the leading dental training and support services provider that prepares foreign-trained dentists to obtain licenses to practice dentistry in Canada, the US, and Australia.

We are seeking a dynamic, imaginative individual to join our small, agile marketing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage and edit video assets for social platforms, allowing for creative freedom and the chance to make a significant impact.

  • *Responsibilities**
  • Constructing narratives and rearranging transcription to create social worthy stories.
  • Edit various video assets that include social content, stock footage, marketing videos, how-to instructional videos, podcasts, product features, service announcements, sizzle reels and teasers following brand guideline.
  • Provide internal project coordination to the marketing team on assigned productions utilizing strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ensure project expectations are company-aligned while maintaining high quality and accuracy for all media assets.
  • Track, prepare, and render rough edits to match the various deliverables' tone and style.
  • Meet critical deadlines under changing conditions, while being comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Maintain and update video asset library in cloud-based environment
  • *Qualifications**
  • 4-5 years of experience in social content creation
  • Strong editing skills in CapCut or Final Cut Pro, knowledge of text-based editing
  • Deep understanding of video content and creative production process and best practices
  • Keen storytelling ability translating words to visuals and matching video shots to scripts
  • Comprehension of colour-grading, framing, composition, and cutting to music
  • Comfortable creating vertical videos from cameras and phones within current trends
  • Proficient in short-form and long-form content creation (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube)
  • Solid understanding of the social platform's management systems and content-planning apps
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation using Canva
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other team members
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a proven ability to create engaging content.
  • This position is on-site, and may have to work outside of normal work hours.

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
