Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and dedicated Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) licensed to practice in Ontario to join our modern and patient-focused dental practice. The successful candidate will provide a full range of general dental services to patients of all ages, with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, ethical practice and patient centered care.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

  • Diagnose oral conditions using medical history, radiographs, diagnostic tools and clinical evaluation.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and preferences.
  • Perform a wide range of general dental procedures, including but not limited to:
  • Preventive care (e.g., exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments)
  • Restorative treatments (e.g., fillings, crowns, bridges)
  • Extractions and minor oral surgery
  • Endodontic procedures (e.g., root canal therapy)
  • Prosthodontics (e.g., dentures, implant-supported restorations)
  • Administer local anesthesia safely and effectively.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Refer patients to specialists when required and ensure proper case documentation and follow-up.

Compliance and Ethics

  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements as set by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) and Ontario Ministry of Health.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and informed consent at all times.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental practice management software.

Qualifications

Required

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO).
  • Professional Liability Insurance in accordance with Ontario regulations.
  • Proficiency in general dentistry procedures with a high standard of care.
  • Strong diagnostic, communication and patient education skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and clinical advancement.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $145,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
