Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and dedicated Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) licensed to practice in Ontario to join our modern and patient-focused dental practice. The successful candidate will provide a full range of general dental services to patients of all ages, with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, ethical practice and patient centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
- Diagnose oral conditions using medical history, radiographs, diagnostic tools and clinical evaluation.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and preferences.
- Perform a wide range of general dental procedures, including but not limited to:
- Preventive care (e.g., exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments)
- Restorative treatments (e.g., fillings, crowns, bridges)
- Extractions and minor oral surgery
- Endodontic procedures (e.g., root canal therapy)
- Prosthodontics (e.g., dentures, implant-supported restorations)
- Administer local anesthesia safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Refer patients to specialists when required and ensure proper case documentation and follow-up.
Compliance and Ethics
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements as set by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) and Ontario Ministry of Health.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and informed consent at all times.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental practice management software.
Qualifications
Required
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensed and in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO).
- Professional Liability Insurance in accordance with Ontario regulations.
- Proficiency in general dentistry procedures with a high standard of care.
- Strong diagnostic, communication and patient education skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and clinical advancement.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $145,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
