Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health and diagnose dental conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and preventive care.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix and other relevant software.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide comprehensive care.
• Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Skills

• Proficiency in using dental software such as Abeldent and Epic for patient management.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
• Ability to work effectively in a pediatric setting, providing care tailored to children’s needs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and staff alike.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD/BDS Program or completion of the NDEB Equivalency Exam
• Certified with NDEB
• Licensed and in good standing with the RCDSO
• Canadian experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,162.80-$301,126.33 per year
