Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, assist in maintaining a clean and efficient clinical environment, and support the overall health and well-being of our patients. Prior experience with dental software and technology is preferred to ensure smooth operations.

Duties

• Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately and efficiently.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Epic, Dentrix, or CAD systems.
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
• Manage patient scheduling, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service.
• Support pediatric patients by creating a welcoming environment tailored to their needs.

Skills

• Proficiency with dental management software such as Epic, Dentrix, or CAD systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
• Experience working in a dental office environment, preferably with pediatrics.
• Strong understanding of infection control protocols and sterilization procedures.
• Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
