Job Summary

• NOTES
• - At least 6 months experience in Orthodontics is required
• SCHEDULE
• At least 2 Saturdays per month

This position requires a significant ability to work in a team and at times independently. The ideal candidate is a bright problem-solver with a positive attitude and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment. Must posses a team player attitude and have good people skills!

Responsibilities

• Assessment of oral health
• Document dental care services
• Maintain patient charts/records
• Give post-procedure care and Oral Hygiene Instructions: home care for appliances, brushing & flossing techniques etc.
• Cleaning the examination room and returning the used trays to the sterilization bay
• Understanding and working with Phase I appliances
• Cement expansion appliances and lingual arches
• Place and remove orthodontic brackets and bands
• Bonding permanent wire retainers
• Changing and ligating arch wires
• Fit and adjust orthodontic appliances upon direction from the orthodontist
