Job Summary

We are seeking a Experienced professional and organized Front Desk Agent to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, familiarity with dental and medical office procedures, and proficiency with electronic medical records systems. Prior experience in dental office settings is required to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional patient service.

Duties

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a positive first impression
  • Verify patient information and update electronic medical records accurately using system Abeldent.
  • Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, including collecting payments and scheduling follow-up appointments
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a professional environment
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and communication
  • Support the team with additional office duties as needed to enhance overall office efficiency

Skills

  • Proven experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting, with familiarity using Abeldent or Dentrix or similar electronic medical records systems
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental and healthcare environments
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff
  • Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and scheduling software
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and administrative tasks
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure
  • Prior office experience demonstrating strong administrative capabilities is highly desirable
