Dental Receptionist with Recall and Insurance Expertise

We are looking for a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist with a strong background in dental recall systems and insurance claim processing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the welcoming first point of contact for our patients and a key player in ensuring our practice runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Welcome & Scheduling: Greet patients warmly, manage check-ins, and handle all appointment scheduling, confirmations, and reminders using Dentrix or a similar software.
Recall Management: Execute our patient recall system, proactively reaching out to patients to schedule follow-up appointments and ensure continuity of care.
Insurance & Billing: Process patient payments and efficiently manage dental insurance claims, including submission, follow-up, and troubleshooting to maximize patient benefits.
Communication: Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, address patient inquiries, and maintain clear and professional communication with patients and staff.
Records & Administration: Maintain accurate electronic patient records and assist with various administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a dental receptionist, with a strong emphasis on dental insurance claims and patient recall systems.
Proficiency with Abeldent or similar dental software.
Excellent communication skills and a professional, friendly demeanor.
A solid understanding of dental terminology and office procedures.
The ability to multitask effectively and maintain attention to detail in a busy environment.
Experience with Abeldent and electronic medical records is a plus.
