Dental Assistant Level I

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a dynamic, friendly, and caring individual for our family-oriented clinic located in Burlington.

Schedule: Monday 10-6

Tuesday: 12-8

Thursday: 10-6

Saturday (once a month): 9-3

The successful candidate must have:

• minimum 1-year dental assistant experience preferred
• able to work 1 evening 1-8pm and 1 Saturday a month 9-3pm
• assist dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials
• HARP certified
• should be familiar x-rays, crown/bridge procedures
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviours
• punctual and reliable
• excellent interpersonal skills, be able to adapt and respond to different patient situations
• team player
• excellent communication skills are an asset
• able to mulit-task
• maintain confidentiality while handling patient information

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
