Experienced Dental Assistant

About the Role

Komal Jain Dentistry is seeking a reliable and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. This is a dual-role position, with a primary focus on clinical assisting and secondary responsibilities supporting front desk and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Dental Assistant (Primary): MUST HAVE

• Assist dentist during procedures (fillings, extractions, root canals, etc.)
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories
• Maintain infection control protocols
• Take dental X-rays
• Ensure smooth patient flow during appointments

Administrative (Secondary)

• Answer calls and follow up with patients
• Calling patients or leads to book appointments
• Book and confirm appointments
• Experience in using Dental software like Tracker.
• Other front desk operations

Qualifications & Certifications

• Dental Assisting Certificate/Diploma (preferred)
• Prior experience as a Dentist or Dental Assistant is must.
• HARP Certification (required for taking X-rays in Ontario)
• Knowledge of IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control)
• English must and Hindi preferred

Experience Required

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or Dentist (required)
• Strong hands-on experience with chairside assisting and sterilization
• Experience with patient communication and appointment booking.
• Good at Outreach calling

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
