Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of administrative and clerical functions. This role is vital in maintaining efficient workflows, managing staff, and supporting overall business objectives.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate office staff, including training and development to foster a productive team environment
- Manage front desk operations, including multi-line phone systems, greeting visitors, and handling inquiries with professional phone etiquette
- Oversee human resources functions such as employee onboarding, record keeping, and payroll processing using QuickBooks or similar software
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and vendor management records, ensuring timely payments and effective supplier relationships
- Organize and manage filing systems for easy access to documents and records
- Assist with budgeting activities and monitor office expenses to stay within financial guidelines
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, preparing reports, and managing correspondence
- Implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with company standards
- Coordinate training sessions and professional development initiatives for staff members
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with demonstrated supervisory experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and vendor management systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on professional phone etiquette
- Experience with front desk operations and multi-line phone systems is preferred
- Knowledge of human resources practices including onboarding, record keeping, and employee relations
- Ability to manage team dynamics, provide training & development opportunities, and foster a collaborative work environment
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and office supply management
- Prior office or clerical experience is highly desirable

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
