**Job Summary**

  • *Duties**
  • Schedule and confirm dental appointments for patients, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time.
  • Utilize electronic medical records systems, such as Epic and Dentrix, to maintain accurate patient information.
  • Manage incoming calls on multi-line phone systems, addressing inquiries and providing excellent customer service.
  • Assist in the recall process by reaching out to patients for follow-up appointments and reminders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to streamline office operations and improve patient experience.
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.
  • *Skills**
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems, particularly Abledent new version.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dental practices.
  • Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role within a dental or medical office environment.
  • Familiarity with office procedures and administrative tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
