**Job Summary**
- *Duties**
- Schedule and confirm dental appointments for patients, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time.
- Utilize electronic medical records systems, such as Epic and Dentrix, to maintain accurate patient information.
- Manage incoming calls on multi-line phone systems, addressing inquiries and providing excellent customer service.
- Assist in the recall process by reaching out to patients for follow-up appointments and reminders.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
- Collaborate with dental staff to streamline office operations and improve patient experience.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.
- *Skills**
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems, particularly Abledent new version.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dental practices.
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role within a dental or medical office environment.
- Familiarity with office procedures and administrative tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
