Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Dental Assistant Level II to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting, with expertise in chairside support, infection control, and patient care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative team environment while utilizing advanced dental technology and procedures across general dentistry and specialty areas such as pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics.
Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures by providing chairside support, ensuring smooth workflow and patient comfort.
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining strict aseptic techniques and infection control standards.
- Take dental radiographs (X-ray) accurately while adhering to safety protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Manage patient records efficiently using electronic medical record (EMR) systems through Tracker ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform vital signs assessment and medical documentation to support comprehensive patient evaluations.
- Operate advanced dental technology such as 3D scanners and medical imaging equipment to facilitate accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment that complies with infection control protocols and OSHA standards.
- Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment plans, and post-procedure care while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic setting with familiarity in general dentistry procedures.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental practice.
- Hands-on experience with EMR systems; familiarity with Tracker is advantageous.
- Competence in taking X-rays and utilizing medical imaging tools including 3D scanners for diagnostic purposes.
- Understanding of infection control practices, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures within a dental environment.
- Experience supporting pediatric dentistry procedures is preferred; knowledge of pediatric-specific protocols is a plus.

Pay: $19.48-$29.45 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
